There are moments when we pause, breathe, and reconnect both with ourselves and with one another. The Rotaract Club of Upper Kololo recently held its much-anticipated Club Retreat in the serene environment of Kigo, a day dedicated to reflection, bonding, and re-energizing for the journey ahead.

The retreat was more than just a getaway,  it was a celebration of fellowship, purpose, and growth. Members took time to reflect on the club’s achievements, share ideas for the future, and strengthen the bonds that make the Upper Kololo family truly special. From laughter-filled team activities to heartfelt conversations by the lakeside, the day was a perfect blend of fun, inspiration, and connection.

A key highlight of the retreat was the Club Assembly, where members came together to review progress, align goals, and shape the club’s leadership roadmap. During this session, we proudly appointed Emma Wella Charles as the President-Elect for the Rotary Year 2026–2027 and Namutebi Sarah as the President-Nominee. Their commitment, passion, and vision for service promise to carry our club to even greater heights.

As the sun set over Kigo, one thing was clear, the spirit of Rotaract burned brighter than ever. The retreat reminded us that while service defines us, fellowship sustains us. With renewed energy, shared purpose, and stronger unity, we are ready to take on new challenges and continue making a meaningful impact in our communities.
